The LifeWork™ Adapter provides access to power tools and gardening equipment. Users of hook devices for prosthetics, such as the Hosmer 5 or 8, can now use power tools and gardening equipment. Individuals with upper-body limb loss can now access power tools, such as circular saws, reciprocating saws, oscillating saws, hammer drills, and grinders. In addition, they can use gardening equipment more easily, manipulating lawnmowers, blowers, weed eaters, edgers, chainsaws, trimmings saws, and hedge clippers.

THE LIFEWORK™ ADAPTER ADAPTS TOOLS TO YOU
The LifeWork™ Adapter uses a unique design that includes a lock that adapts the tool and a key that engages the prosthetic hook. Locks are selected to securely engage a given tool, and the key is selected that orients the tool relative to the hook prosthetic so that you can engage with the tool safely and effectively. In contrast to other replaceable terminal devices that feel rigid and awkward, this combination lock and key adapts the tool to your prosthetic hook terminal device, providing a smooth, natural-feeling movement.
